About Me

Owner, breeder and exhibitor of pedigree border collies for over 20 years.

For the last 20+ years , I was a breeder and exhibitor of pedigree border collies. During this time, I campaigned my dogs in a number of disciplines in conformation showing and sports, successfully titling a number of my own home bred dogs and dog from other show kennels.

During this time, I was also engaged as a dog trainer for both public and private community obedience clubs and businesses.

I have previously worked in both mobile and commercial grooming salons. Additionally, I have been active in the animal industry in a range of different fields.

It is with this passion and dedication in mind, I left full time work in the public sector to return to grooming at my fully equipped home salon here in Mt Mee.

Having worked in both commercial and mobile grooming salons, I am keenly aware of the time and space restrictions that can affect a good groom for both the dog and the owner.

Having a quiet home salon allows the time needed for those dogs who maybe anxious or nervous in the busy and often noisy atmosphere of commercial grooming salons.

Here at Mystiqview Manor, my aim is to provide affordable, yet tailored grooming services. Too often, I read on social media pages where customers are faced with grooms that were not asked for, such as clipping or shaving of a double coated breed, when all that was desired as a detailed brush and groom.

It is my belief and desire to work with dog owners and their dogs to provide a groom where the dog is as relaxed as it can be while providing owners with a professional groom without unexpected surprises of un-neccessary clips or shaves.

With my years of experience in both obedience/training and conformation ring, I specialise in proper care and maintenance of double coat breeds. I currently have clientele that travel from Ipswich, Logan and even NSW to have their border collie groomed right here at Mystiqview Manor.
